Acid mist collecting & Electrolyte cooling system of EW workshop


1. Acid mist collecting & Electrolyte Cooling system
This system adopts natural air inlet and mechanical exhaust ventilation mode to deal with the acid mist, the acid mist from the electrolytic cell is collected through roof vents and exhaust ducts and subsequently be inhaled in the cooling tower by the draught fan, the air with acid mist will cool down the electrolyte which is sprayed from top to bottom in the cooling tower. After being collected by the liquid capture device, the acid mist will finally fall into the solution basin and return to the electro refining system together with the cooled electrolyte, the air will be discharged into the atmosphere.
 
The absorption efficiency of acid mist in the cooling tower can reach 99.5%, and the concentration of acid mist in the exhaust can be reduced to 0.195mg/m3.

2. Acid Mist Collecting System


 

The air vents are arranged on the roof above the electrolytic cells, and then connected to the cooling tower through the exhaust ducts, when the draught fan of the cooling tower is running, due to the residual pressure of the draught fan, the acid mist from the surface of electrolytic cell will be inhaled to the cooling tower. After being collected by the liquid capture device of the cooling tower, the acid mist will be recycled and return to the electro refining system.
The special design of this acid mist collecting system avoids the lateral drift of acid mist in the workshop, the production condition of the workshop is greatly improved.
